Chewy Brand Identity Refresh

Chewy exists so no one pet parents alone. The brand is fun, heartfelt, relatable and a hint of mischievousness, just like our pets. Here for all the slobbery kisses, snuggles, and struggles, in short, pets are our everything and Chewy is here for that.

Our team was tasked to create a detailed set of brand guidelines that would outline a refreshed look, feel and tone for the Chewy brand. With the new brand positioning of “Enduring Companionship,” it was Chewy’s time to take its place as a leader in the pet and pet parent category.

After we set the standard for a fresh take on the Chewy brand, we continue to help shape the overall photo style, create a consistent look for broadcast and social channels, campaigns and our in-house private brands.

ILLUSTRATION STYLE

A bold style built on flat line illustrations that use brand colors and thoughtful exaggerations to show enduring companionship through larger-than-life storytelling. The Chewy brand uses illustrations when moments and stories cannot fully be told through the lens of a photograph.
